CASH CALL CONTEST RULES

1. KDOK Cash Call is an on-air listening contest operated by KDOK 92.1 FM.
2. KDOK will set a cash jackpot amount and announce that amount on the air.
3. Every weekday, KDOK will call telephone numbers that are a.) generated at random using prefixes from exchanges in the KDOK listening area and/or b.) selected from numbers submitted by listeners to a special database section of www.kdok.com. Selection of random numbers or database numbers to be called by KDOK on-air personalities and the ratio thereof will be at the sole discretion of KDOK.
4. If the individual answering the telephone call placed by KDOK knows the amount of cash in the Cash Call jackpot as announced by KDOK prior to placing the call, that individual will receive the amount of the jackpot paid in cash. The individual answering the telephone may consult with someone nearby, such as a co-worker, provided that the consultation is brief and that the individual answering the telephone does not leave the line or place the KDOK air personality "on hold' during the consultation. The individual answering the telephone is deemed to be the sole contestant. If the individual answering the telephone is under age 18, the provisions of rule no. 10 also apply.
5. If the individual does not know the correct amount of the Cash Call jackpot or if the telephone call placed by KDOK is not answered, KDOK will increase the amount of the jackpot by an amount determined by KDOK. The amount of such increase will be announced by KDOK on the air.
6. If KDOK places a call that is answered by an answering machine, voice mail or similar telephone answering system and if the greeting on the answering system contains the correct jackpot amount, KDOK will award the jackpot amount plus a bonus amount of $921.00 over and above the stated jackpot amount.
7. In the event that a winner is obtained by an answering system, the KDOK air personality placing the call will leave a message on that answering system advising the owner that he or she has correctly stated the Cash Call jackpot and giving instructions to contact KDOK's general offices. Amounts won in this manner must be claimed within 30 days or the prize will be forfeited.
8. When a telephone call placed by KDOK is answered, the KDOK air personality placing the call will advise the individual answering the call that KDOK is placing the call and that the call is being recorded for playback on the air. The individual answering the call may elect not to have his or her voice recorded and the call will be terminated at that point. If the individual accepts the call and elects to continue the call after being advised that the call is being recorded for playback on the air, that individual agrees to the use of his/her voice in on-air broadcasts by KDOK.
9. KDOK will award cash prizes won in this contest within 15 days of the date the prize is won.
10. No purchase is necessary. Persons under the age of 18 who answer the phone and correctly state the amount of the KDOK Cash Call Jackpot may win the contest. However, amounts won in connection with the KDOK Cash Call must be paid to an individual over the age of 18 and that individual must provide a valid Social Security number. For purposes of reporting to the Internal Revenue Service, the individual who actually receives the payment amount will be considered the recipient. Amounts paid under this contest will be reported to the IRS on Form 1099.
11. A single individual may register multiple telephone numbers (e.g. cell phone, work phone, etc.) in the KDOK Cash Call database. However, a single telephone number may only be submitted once. Duplicate entries of the same telephone number will be rejected. See also rule 18 below.
12. Employees of KDOK, Gleiser Communications, LLC, its affiliated companies, participating sponsors and their advertising agencies and promotional partners, together with the immediate family members of those so employed, are not eligible to participate and/or win.
13. Winners in connection with this contest, by accepting the winning prize, agree to the use by KDOK of their names, voices and/or likenesses without compensation by KDOK or by any of its promotional partners and sponsors.
14. Winner will be advised to claim his/her prizes in person at KDOK's studios located at 1001 E.SE. Loop 323, Suite 455, Tyler, TX 75701. Winner must sign an acceptance/release form prior to receiving a prize. Winner must provide a government-issued photo I.D. and will be required to provide his/her Social Security number.
15. Winner is solely responsible for the payment of any taxes arising from the acceptance of a cash prize.
16. Contestant agrees to hold KDOK, its corporate licensee, its parent company and affiliated companies, together with the officers, directors, shareholders, managers, employees and representatives and/or agents of any of them, harmless from any claim of liability arising directly or indirectly from the contest or prize.
17. No ongoing relationship of any kind is created by or between KDOK and the contestant.
18. Failure to follow contest rules will result in the disqualification of the contestant. Attempts to rig the contest by any means including, but not limited to, submitting the same telephone number to the KDOK database multiple times may disqualify individuals from participating in or winning prizes in connection with this contest. Attempts to win prizes in connection with this contest by any fraudulent or deceptive means will be treated as fraud and may subject the perpetrator of such fraud to prosecution under applicable state or federal statute.
19. One winner per household. Individuals who win a prize in connection with this contest are ineligible to win this contest again but may participate in contests sponsored by KDOK other than the KDOK Cash Call.
20. KDOK is the sole judge with respect to questions arising in connection with this contest. Such judgments will be final.
